Repairing a clock fusee
This Tuesdays video is the first part of a short series where I repair a fusee from a month going skeleton clock. The fusee had been previously extended and the extension piece had been cut to an exaggerated curve, meaning that the smallest diameter was so small that thee clock was struggling for power when fully wound. I decided that as the part had already been worked on then a suitable repair would be to remove the extension piece and to rework the repair with a new extension piece cut to a larger diameter.
I hope you enjoy the video and as always please do like, share and subscribe to the YouTube channel.
Thanks and all the very best,
Tommy.
